The Multotec GroupThe Multotec
Group, established more than thirty years ago, is a South
African organisation with German shareholding. Its core
business is the supply of products and services to the
mining, mineral beneficiation and power generation
industries. The group comprises four
main operating entities, each with its own product range and
associated services, namely Multotec Manufacturing, Multotec
Process Equipment, Multotec Wear Linings, and Multotec
Rubber. Quality and Service
Excellence
Based in Johannesburg, with branches nationwide as well as
further afield in Africa, Australia and South America, the
Multotec Group has several comprehensively equipped
manufacturing facilities which produce specific product
lines. Quality remains an integral part of the group’s
ongoing strategy and the entire organisation is ISO
9001:2000 certified.
In addition to Multotec’s extensive
product offering, the organisation has an established
reputation for providing optimum technical solutions and the
highest levels of support, from the assistance of
appropriate equipment selection through to delivery accuracy
and both hot and cold commissioning.
Dynamic Industry Expertise
The group’s success can be attributed to the high level of
application knowledge and technical expertise which resides
within its personnel as well as many years experience with
processes in the mineral industry. Highly skilled and
qualified engineers, all considered experts in their
specific fields, are responsible for implementing solutions.
Complete Solutions and Close Customer
Relationships
Multotec is large enough to cater for the diverse
requirements of most minerals beneficiation needs, and yet
continues to put emphasis on maintaining close customer
relationship and partnerships to ensure optimum solutions.
BEE (Black
Economic Empowerment)
In 2006, Multotec attained BEE status through Kagiso
Strategic Investment’s acquisition of a 25% share in the
company. This recent empowerment deal forms the basis for an
ongoing initiative to implement sustainable broad-based BEE
in Multotec and bring it in line with the Codes of Good
Practice as set out by Department of Trade and Industry.
