MOH-9 Armour Ceramics, a division of Multotec Wear
Linings, extends the company’s extensive research
and development, technical expertise and knowledge
in manufacturing advanced ceramics to the
development of ballistic projectile protection
systems for personnel, motor vehicles, aircraft and
ships. With the key focus being on making the
ceramic as effective and light as possible,
extensive in-house research and development is
undertaken on a continual basis with
internationally-recognised institutes as well as
composite manufacturers.The
ceramic plates can be either custom designed or
standard, and are used in commercial, private and
military applications. The division works to
constantly upgrade materials and manufacturing
processes to meet the new ballistic challenges.
