Screen Frames

Multotec Screen Frames

Multotec screen support frames are custom made to suit the machine and the application. They are available for a wide range of vibrating screens and can be either of huck bolted or welded construction or a combination design.

Welded Beams and Welded Runners

The runners can be channel iron or angle iron. The best choice is 8mm thick angle iron which provides superior service life and more secure attachment of panels. Suitable for small and medium screens, especially dry applications.

Box Frame

Welded cross members with superimposed welded one foot grid trays huck bolted into position. Suitable for heavy duty applications requiring large frames.

Frame Finishes
  • Red oxide paint is an economical finish for dry and noncorrosive applications
  • Galvanising for corrosive and seawater applications
  • Copon paint as a more economical alternative to galvanising
  • Frames can be polyurethane sprayed or rubber lined on request

A finite element analysis of your frame can be done on request.

Welded Beams and Huckbolted Runners

Cost effective replacement of runners (and cleats) only. Split runners for replacement of feed sections only as high impact and high fines content can result in preferential wear. Multotec can supply 3Cr12 runners for corrosive applications.

Dewatering Screen Frame

The Multotec design has a seperate back window which eliminates the need for chamfered panels and reduces stock holding

Side Tension Frame

Polyurethane tensioned panels use the same clamps as woven wire so both types of panel can be installed on the same frame.

Welded frame to accommodate polyurethane or woven wire tensioned panels.

Saddle Top System

The Saddle Top frame was developed so that the screen panel fastening holes on conventional runners could be replaced instead of replacing the complete runner.

The patented Saddle Top is manufactured from polyurethane and fits onto a flat bar runner that is in turn fastened, via cleats, to the cross members of the vibrating screen.

Boltdown Frame

Welded frame to accommodate polyurethane or wedgewire bolt down panels. The Multotec design can incorporate a keyhole securing system to eliminate the necessity for personnel to be under the screen when changing bolt down panels.
