Nico is a Metallurgical professional with over 20 years’ experience in the fields of business development, applications management, and process management within the mineral processing industry. His illustrious career has seen him work in various roles for Samancor DMS Powders from November 2001 to December 2006 and Minopex – Lesotho as a Metallurgist from January 2007 to June 2008 before joining Multotec Process Equipment (MPE) in July 2008 as a Senior Process Engineer – Cyclones.

After the short stint in MPE Nico re-joined Minopex Lesotho in July 2010. This time as a Metallurgical Manager before being promoted to Area Manager. His passion for the Multotec products and culture compelled him to make another career move back to Multotec in February 2012. Since then, his diligence, professionalism and commitment has seen him grow professionally while contributing invaluably to the Multotec business. He has held various positions including Process Manager, Applications Manager and Business Development Manager within various Business Units.

His experience, expertise and exposure in mineral processing equipment and business development, coupled with his qualifications in Management and Leadership Development Programmes from UNISA and GIBBS respectively, has given him great understanding of the dynamics of the mineral processing industry and leading of teams in Africa. His experience both within and outside Multotec makes him a great and valuable resource to lead our East and Central African teams to the next level as part of the Multotec International Africa team strategy.
