On 13 June 2019, Multotec, working together with Education is our Future, opened a library at Manyano Primary School in Middelburg. Located in Mhluzi Township, about 10 km from the Multotec Middelburg branch, the school is managed by Principal Mr Vincent Mnguni.

Multotec made a monetary donation to Education is our Future for the library. Perle Greenberg, representing the organisation, sourced all necessary material to make sure the library is adequately resourced with relevant reading material and equipment.

The principal and the five teachers who volunteered to be librarians are committed to ensure that the library does not only exist, but is used effectively to benefit the learners. This is a work in progress, as plans to equip the library with computers and also to ensure that librarians have necessary skills to run the library are in place.

Adequate literature is only a part of the process, with plans to add computers to the library already underway.
