Immink was first introduced to iron ore processing 37 years ago when he was awarded a bursary. Immink has completed his Masters of Philosophy in workplace ethics, Bachelors in Metallurgical Engineering (with Honours), Management Advancement Programme as well as a Diploma in Company Direction.

Born in the Free State, South Africa, Immink was also a lecturer in Extractive Metallurgy at the University of Pretoria. In 1993, Immink aligned himself with the process equipment business and management – where he remains today.

Immink invests this knowledge of mineral processing in Multotec’s client operations. Immink has been with Multotec for three years (2015) and holds two positions in the company: Managing Director of Processing Equipment in South Africa and the Chief Executive Officer of Multotec Canada.
