Multotec supplies the SIEBTECHNIK TEMA range of hybrid centrifuges. Combines filtering and sedimenting centrifuges into a single machine, the hybrid centrifuge can be used for almost any centrfiugal separation process.
Hybrid centrifuges don't just save on footprint and capital costs: they deliver excellent separation efficiency and solids dewatering to reduce the energy costs of the drying process. Upgrading a conventional centrifuge to a hybrid within an existing system enables increased production capacity.

The hybrid centrifuge process
Solids are separated by sedimentation in a solid-wall section. The product is washed in the screening section and dewatered up to the dewatering limit.
Hybrid centrifuges have successfully operated in numerous industries and various applications. The selection of the type of machine is governed by machine parameters, g-number, holding time and cake height.
