Multotec is committed to developing artisans through a range of apprenticeships approved by through merSeta.
Multotec offers product and product application training for its employees and for its clients. This training can be tailored to suit client’s requirements based on the level of trainees. A typical product-specific training may include: basic principles and theory, fault-finding as well as installation and maintenance.
Multotec offers product training for cyclones, screening media, spirals, magnetic separators, rubber mill linings, ceramic wear linings, samplers, filters and centrifuges and wet end flotation wear components.
The Multotec Graduate Development Programme is typically a 12 to 18 month programme where engineering graduates are given opportunities to learn and excel in their day-to-day work. The programme includes plant rotation and exposure to the different areas within the Multotec Group. Each graduate is provided with a mentor and specific development plan for the duration of the programme.
Multotec is engaged in various initiatives relating to the provision of bursaries and study assistance to students. The provision of relevant experiential training opportunities is included in these initiatives. Each year, Multotec awards a number of bursaries for certain fields of studies (skills) and provides opportunities for vacation work and experiential leaning.

Multotec is committed to the development of our employees and promote a culture of continuous learning. All new employees complete an Induction Programme as well as Training specific to their positions.
Each employee has an Individual Development Plan in place which is reviewed annually that indicates specific learning and development needs. Leadership and Management Skills are developed and Mentoring Relationships are encouraged.
For its customers in remote areas, Multotec conducts onsite training so they benefit from the same high level of expertise and technical knowledge to those afforded training at Multotec in Johannesburg. This practical training is designed to help customers to run their plants efficiently and effectively, and is conducted by Multotec product specialists sent to a region for this purpose.
