Multotec’s rubber conveyor belt loading points control the flow of material and reduce bouncing , minimising ore spillage.
These conveyor system parts are low friction impact bars secured to a mild steel frame and used at conveyor transfer points in the place of conveyor idlers. As there are no moving parts or spring mechanisms, loading point maintenance requirements are greatly reduced.
The low friction impact bar is constructed of rubber, which has been specifically compounded with a 10 mm thick Multoslip low friction polyethylene top cover. This helps it achieve its high energy absorption.
These loading points are designed so the conveyor can travel 15 to 20 mm above the loading point bed. This reduces contact, which minimises heat build-up helping to prolong the life of the conveyor.
Provide increased belt life by absorbing the energy of ore transfer
Ensure low friction between conveyor and impact bars, mimimising wear on conveyor belt underside
Have low friction bars tailored for both above- and below-ground applications

Multotec's rubber loading points consists of collapsible sides and low friction impact bars secured to a mild steel frame. They are used at conveyor transfer points in place of idlers and controls the ore.
The standard Multotec low friction bar system uses standard materials and a T-bolt attachment secured in an aluminium insert. A tapered feed end is supplied, with both ends tapered for bi-directional conveyors.
Multotec’s low friction bars for underground applications comprise black anti-static Multoslip top cover, a fire retardant rubber compound and a loose clamp attachment system where a curved T-bolt fits into a groove in the underside of the bar,
