Daniel Smith
Field Services Manager, Daniel Smith, has been a part of the Multotec team since 2011. Daniel was born in Springs, Johannesburg, and is a qualified Mechanical Fitter and Safety Officer.
Daniel brings 15 years of mill maintenance experience at Babcock, having worked on various Power Stations in South Africa. He has vast mill and scrubber installation experience for Polysius AG, with installations across the African continent and China.
Daniel has been a Site Manager on the Phola Processing Plant and in Multotec’s Manufacturing division in Secunda and Middelburg. Additionally, Daniel worked on Multotec’s first pump maintenance contract in Leeuwpan.
Being at Multotec for 10 years, Daniel specialises in the installation and maintenance of mill and scrubbers, centrifuges, filter presses and pumps.
