The two stage lever method is an added advantage as it increases the efficiency of the installation and eliminates misfires normally associated with the single stage method.

Designed for conveyor belts with a tensile strength up to 3 500 kN, the Mato U30 Series has a stainless steel plate and spring steel staple material.
This results on the strongest possible connection of the splice to ensure the longest possible service life.
With a tensile strength up to 3 500 kN, the MATO S30 series is recommended for medium strength belts in coal mining applications, including quarries, as well as cement and steel plants and other industrial applications.
The E30 Series is manufactured from special steel, the plate and staple design and configuration have been optimised through rigorous testing.
The splice provides a strong connection and good service life. It is designed with a tensile strength up to 1 400 kN.
The MATO connection pins are specially developed stainless steel chrome nickel steel cable and armour wrap. They come in range P1S, P2S and P3S; sizes 500 mm to 2 200 mm.
