Can waste create hope? Multotec’s lap desk legacy says yes!
Multotec has reinforced its commitment to sustainability and community upliftment by donating 160 lap desks to Nyiko Primary School in Tembisa, South Africa.
These lap desks were made from leftover materials from the company’s zero-waste exhibition stand at Electra Mining Africa 2024. The stand was constructed using recyclable Xanita board, biodegradable hot glue, and reusable fasteners.
Instead of discarding the exhibition built after the event, Multotec repurposed it into practical items to support learning.
This initiative reflects the company’s dedication to reducing waste while making a meaningful impact in local communities.
