Established nine years ago, the Inkosinami Drop-in Centre was founded with the mission of supporting vulnerable children in the Mbalenhle area of Secunda.
The centre offers a safe and nurturing environment where children receive help with their homework and are provided with nutritious cooked meals. Beyond daily care, the centre also extends its support through home assistance and school holiday programmes. By supplying toiletries and engaging in motivational conversations, the centre works to restore the dignity and self-worth of every child it serves.
On the 17th April 2025, Secunda branch manager Daniel Smith and his team visited the centre to offer their continued support and give back to the local community. Founder Esther Kubeka expressed heartfelt gratitude to Multotec for their second generous donation.
The first contribution included a secure fence and gate for the premises, while the latest donation comprised school shoes, a mobile cabinet stocked with reading books, and essential groceries.
