Multotec’s business leaders recently conducted an inspection tour in China. Group Financial Director Mr. Johan Robbertse and Multotec International Managing Director Mr. Jaco du Toit, with MSS General Manager Eric Song, undertook the visit to advance strategic initiatives and strengthen key partnerships.
The visit underscored the company’s commitment to enhancing its supply chain capabilities, addressing client needs, and laying the groundwork for its 2025 development goals.
The leadership team visited a critical trommel screen outsourcing manufacturer, where they assessed its production facilities and technical expertise. Impressed by the manufacturer’s advanced processing capabilities and scalability, the executives confirmed that the supplier fully meets the headquarters’ stringent requirements for large-scale equipment outsourcing. This partnership is expected to bolster MSS’ manufacturing efficiency and support its global project delivery.

They also visited a major silicon sand end-user with 30 large vibrating machines, to address challenges in screening fine-grained material at 0.68mm. Technical teams from both organisations engaged in in-depth discussions to refine solutions to enhance screening accuracy and operational efficiency. The leadership expressed optimism about securing a long-term collaboration, emphasising the company’s dedication to delivering tailored, high-value outcomes for clients.
During closed-door meetings with the MSS General Manager, the headquarters leadership reviewed progress on the 2025 strategic roadmap and discussed preparations for establishing a new trade company in China. Key topics included market expansion priorities, localisation strategies, and operational frameworks to align with global objectives. The executives provided actionable guidance to ensure the China team remains agile in navigating market dynamics while accelerating growth in core sectors.
This visit has strengthened the headquarters’ confidence in China’s key role in MSS’s global strategy. By consolidating partnerships, addressing the unique challenges of customers, and clarifying strategic priorities, the leadership aims to position the business in China as a processing and manufacturing center covering China, Mongolia, and supporting Central Asia and neighbouring countries.
