The five day Electra Mining Africa 2026 officially began in Johannesburg, marking the start of Africa’s largest mining, industrial, electrical, and power trade show. Organisers hailed the event’s remarkable growth, noting that it has become the biggest trade show of its kind on the continent and now ranks as the third largest globally in the mining, manufacturing, and engineering sector.
With over a thousand exhibitors and professionals in attendance, the expo offers a platform to discover new technologies, source solutions, and explore innovations shaping the future of mining and industry.
Among the industry leaders, Mohamed Trabelsi, Business Development Manager Africa at Multotec Group of Companies emphasised that events like Electra Mining provide a vital opportunity to connect with customers, partners, and young talent, while demonstrating how local expertise can meet international standards.
