Exploring Botswana's Mining Industry
As the managing director of MATO Products, I recently participated in a series of travelling Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTEs) across Botswana. Firstly, our company and Multotec Botswana showcased our offerings at the MTE Palapye show, which was attended by 264 visitors.
Showcasing our products and services to key role players
We participated in the MTE Palapye event, where we were joined by numerous mines and power stations, totalling at least 74 attendees. Among them were the Botswana Power Corporation, Johdee Mineral Processing, Master Quarries, Morupule Coal Mine, Palapye Quarries, and Premium Nickel Resources.
We also took part in two other events: the MTE Letlhakane and the Jwaneng Mining and Technical Exhibition. At the MTE Letlhakane, we were among the 287 visitors representing 66 different mines. The exhibition featured an impressive line-up of mines, including the Botswana Power Corporation, Karowe Diamond Mine - Lucara, Letlhakane Diamond Mine - Debswana, and Orapa Diamond Mine - Debswana. Subsequently, at the Jwaneng Mining and Technical Exhibition, we had the opportunity to engage with 170 visitors from the Jwaneng Diamond Mine - Debswana and Premium Nickel Resources.
Participating in these events and having the chance to showcase our products and services to such a diverse audience of prominent companies and individuals was a notable accomplishment. We eagerly anticipate the potential business opportunities and partnerships that may arise from this experience.
We are thrilled by the outcomes of these events, which fostered fruitful connections and exchanges. We look forward to the positive effects they will have on our future business.
