On the 20th of May 2021, Multotec held its first online customer training workshop for the year. This was the second of three key workshops of 2021.
These events are unique and add value for Multotec customers as they are a collaboration between the company and other leading industry manufacturers.
May’s workshop theme was “Constantly working to lower your cost per ton”. During this event, four Multotec experts shared a wealth of knowledge and real-life case studies relating to cyclone, screening, flotation, field service maintenance and spiral applications. Chief Executive Officer, Thomas Holtz, also shared some intriguing insights on how the success of an organisation is driven by its own culture.
Collaborative partners for this event were IMS Engineering and Carmaky, who provided insights into themes of “Using technology to lower production costs”, “Slashing production costs by preconcentrating upfront” and “Alternative energy technologies for mining”.
Over 270 people, across 17 different countries, joined the online event on the day.
“The virtual method of presenting workshops certainly has its challenges. Things can always go wrong – and they often do. We had a few minor technical glitches, only noticeable to us behind the scenes, but overall, the workshop went very well,” says Brent Combrink, Process Engineer at Multotec Manufacturing.
“We are very pleased that we can show the world our technical capabilities and experience, which highlights our competencies. We aim to leave customers with key notes to assist them in running their plants optimally, and I think we are certainly succeeding!” exclaims Combrink.
Multotec has additional sessions planned for this year, which will cover Milling and DMS Circuits.
Recordings of the event are also made available to anyone who missed it or may have been unable to sign in due to time zone differences. To access the recordings, click here to register.
