In the spirit of commemorating our 50th anniversary with a gesture that echoes the essence of growth and sustainability, we have embarked on a meaningful journey of planting trees. In Spartan, we've planted five Wit Karee trees at Cresslawn Primary School – a choice inspired by their indigenous charm and rapid growth with minimal attention. These trees, like the memories we've shared over the years, are set to provide shade, cozy conversation nooks, and an added touch of natural beauty to the school grounds. The decision to grace Cresslawn with this green tribute was effortless, as our soccer team already calls their fields home, uniting our passion for sports with the flourishing greenery we now gift to the school.
Meanwhile, in the mother city Cape Town, our branch has extended this celebration of growth and care to Cheré Botha School it is a government school for learners on the autism spectrum and with intellectual disabilities. The school now boasts a tree and vibrant rose bushes, symbolizing hope, beauty, and inclusivity.
Embracing the spirit of unity and environmental stewardship, our branches in Ghana and Botswana also joined the tree planting. This strengthens our company's roots and nurtures the communities we call home.
