One of the busiest days on the Multotec calendar is the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) Drive. This was no different on this year’s blood drive, which took place at Multotec Spartan on 16 October.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Multotec, together with SANBS, had to make sure that all COVID regulations were put in place in preparation of the area where the donations would take place. Blood donation figures stand at 1% of the whole population due to a lack of active blood donors in South Africa, so it was necessary to involve the whole company in this life-saving initiative.
Multotec holds the distinction of being the BEST performing organisation, as declared by the South African National Blood Service (SANBS), when it comes to the number of blood donations, so it’s our duty to maintain this sought-after position.
