Multotec China display innovative technology, leading the future of screening
As a grand event of China's coal industry, the "China Coal & Mining Expo" is held every two years and has successfully held 18 sessions. After more than 40 years of development, the Expo is an important platform on which China's coal industry displays new products and technologies. It is also an important opportunity for communication with the world’s mining industries. It is the first choice for domestic and foreign coal machinery and mining equipment enterprises to seek business opportunities, develop markets, enhance brands, strengthen exchanges and explore the development trends of the industry.
Multotec China participated in the exhibition and demonstrated various series of screen panel products. MPE was represented by “Huade Creations” displaying Cyclones and Spirals, in order to bring a diversified product display and complete screening/process solutions to customers.
At the exhibition, Multotec showcased:
- the conventional screen panel commonly used in China,
- several high-tech screen panels,
- the curved sievebend screen to domestic users for the first time, which attracted considerable attention of many visitors, and
- conducted in-booth consultations, one after another.
The exhibition was held in Beijing at the end of October, at a tense time for COVID-19 prevention efforts. In order to ensure the safety of exhibitors and visitors, the exhibition was shortened by two days and the organising committee conducted free nucleic acid tests during the exhibition period. Only those with negative results were admitted to the exhibition hall, ensuring the personal safety of all guests and exhibitors.
In spite of the challenging conditions, the enthusiasm of visitors was not dampened. 25 000 visitors attended the exhibition. And a steady stream of visitors approached the Multotec’s booth, many of them with questions. 7 exhibition inquiries were converted and 300 guests left their contact details, hoping to receive information from Multotec about products and trends..
Multotec screen panels entered the Chinese market only recently, but, having inherited the market experience of TEMA in China, MSS understands the on-site use conditions and specialised demands of Chinese users. Thus the Team can solve various problems for customers according to their unique situation, using mature products developed in South Africa and Germany.
MSS staff work hard to showcase the various characteristics of Multotec screen panels to customers, who will benefit from having twice the result with half the effort.
