Multotec Europe made a strong impact at BAUMA 2025, showcasing innovation on the global stage.
The past few months have been marked by exciting developments at Multotec Europe. While we remain strongly positioned in the sand and gravel industry as well as in the recycling sector – particularly with our pumps, cyclones, and spirals – we are now placing a stronger focus on expanding into the mining industry, which is typically the focus for Multotec. However, in Europe, we had no new mining projects for the last 20 years, which is why the focus here in Europe was hardly in mining. This is going to change over the next 20 years, with 76 new and approved projects on the exploration side, with another 54 new projects in the pipeline. On the recycling side (secondary mining), 44 projects are on the go. All this is part of the “Critical Raw Material Act”, this act has become law in 2022 for the countries belonging to the EU.
To support this strategic shift, we’ve welcomed two new members to our team:
Dr. Peter Lang, an experienced process engineer, who brings with him mining knowledge and industry expertise. We’re also pleased to have Oussema Bouraoui on board, a mechanical engineer with knowledge in screening. He will focus specifically on supporting our customers in Tunisia, Morocco, and Algeria.
These additions to our team not only strengthen our technical capabilities but also enhance our regional reach across North Africa.
Another major highlight was our participation at BAUMA 2025 in Munich – one of the world’s largest trade fairs, with over 600,000 visitors from over 200 countries.
The event proved to be a great success for Multotec Europe. We had the opportunity to nurture existing client relationships, establish new contacts and reconnect with long-time partners. We are excited about the opportunities ahead and remain committed to execute our mandate, expanding our presence close to our customers in Europe and North Africa.
