Multotec hits the street of Spartan!
At 17:30 on Thursday, 15 October, the Multotec Athletic Running Club (MAC) joined the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Virtual Run, with a fun-filled, 5.6-km corporate run in Spartan.
More than 50 recorded runners crossed the finish line! Our runners started at Multotec 28 Forge Road and finished at 54 Steel Road.
Our route was chosen so that all runners passed in front of the various Multotec premises in Spartan, and the streets were adorned by Multotec banners, green regalia and music at the water stops to spice things up a bit! The commitment, excitement and positive energy from the whole team was simply amazing.
We also had external members who supported our initiative and our 4 best ‘pace setters’ from United Training Club (UTC). The UTC top runners really inspired our MAC team members to compete for their prizes!
The MAC Pretoria team members also participated on the day, tackling their favourite Parkrun venue as they were not able to join the rest of the MAC team in Spartan.
We had our award ceremony after the last runner. Our prizes ranged from trophies, medals and Multotec branded back packs for all our MAC winners based on their age group categories from the oldest being 61 years to the youngest, 15 years. External runners were given a medal as a token of appreciation, and our pace setters were also awarded the Multotec branded buffs.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Green Team, Marketing and Procurement for all your support during this run and making sure that everything was in place.
The 2021 Registration will open very soon and details will be communicated once we receive feedback from CGA.
