Multotec Learnerships Develop Skills
Multotec runs annual learnership programmes and this year, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, was no different.
For years, learnership classes have been held at the Multotec Conference Centre so employees from other branches needed to travel to Spartan to attend classes. Now we added full learnerships that are running at Multotec Wear Linings in Pretoria.
This year’s learnership is Production Technology NQF 3. The programme runs until 31 March 2021.
In Pretoria, we have a class of 10 leaners: 6 full-time employees and 4 external learners.
Learnership classes run concurrently with Spartan classes. Pretoria’s first class was on 11 June 2020.
We hoping to have more training activities taking place in Pretoria.
At Spartan, we have classes running:
Polymer Compound NQF 3: 8 Learners (3 External & 4 Internal)
Production Technology NQF 3: 19 learners (4 External & 15 Internal)
Manufacturing and Assembly Operation Supervision: 6 learners (Multotec Internal Supervisors)
Under the current restrictions of social distancing and safety measures, all the classes are adhering to social distancing and learners are wearing masks all the time.
