Multotec Services expands product offering
A lot happened during 2022 that affected all of us. Internationally, the Russian invasion of Ukraine had a dramatic ripple effect on world economics and the personal lives of people worldwide due to the impact it had on general energy prices and the supply of some basic foodstuffs. In South Africa, we are also facing additional challenges such as the reliability of electricity supply and rail transportation that affect our factories, businesses and customers directly.
General commodity prices remain healthy and our customer base is benefitting from this trend. However, there are signs that the market could be levelling out and some customers have started to cut back on projects and general expenditures due to results that did not meet the projected targets.
Committed to improved service delivery
This implies that there will be a renewed effort to search for products and services that will be more beneficial to their operations through improved efficiencies, more reliable plant performance, enhanced economic life, and better yields by our customers. They will also expect a better service offering from our branches all over the world. This means that we, as a team, will have to focus on the things that we can do to improve product performance and comprehensive customer satisfaction. These will include product innovation, production quality, on-time delivery and accident-free field service delivery.
Every member of our team is an expert in their respective tasks and is in a position to identify opportunities for improvement in what we do. We do not need one or two massive improvements or changes to put the group in a better competitive position. Rather, what we need is a combination of all of the smaller individual contributions that each one of us can bring to the table. It is not always the team with a few big stars that wins the game but the one with the best team spirit, and tenacity and whose players look out and care for one another.
Multotec Services: Towards a successful 2023
Multotec Services' strategy for 2023 will focus on enhancing customer experience on all current service contracts by expanding our product offering to existing customers. There are already a few projects that are well-advanced and ready for delivery in the short term. To complement this, we are also actively promoting service and maintenance package offerings on products such as pumps and magnetic separators related activities to widen the traditional offering and support of those products. We wish every team member success in chasing their targets for 2023 and invite everyone to direct any possible opportunities to provide further customer support, that they might encounter when engaging with customers, to Multotec Services for further follow-up.
