Multotec sponsors Career Day at Ga Masemola
For years, Multotec has sponsored the Masemola Career Exhibition, an annual Career Day event held at Masemola High School in the village of Ga Masemola, north east of Pretoria.
The exhibition, organised by the Masemola Young Professionals (MYP), aims to introduce school learners from the community to different career paths so that they can be better informed and more knowledgeable in making the right career and educational choices beyond matric.
This year’s event took place on 5 May and Multotec was again an enthusiastic supporter, donating funds for the event as well as sending a team of employees to introduce learners to the world of mineral processing and metallurgy and the various career paths within these industries.
“In addition to exposing these learners to new possible career opportunities, we also guide them to understand what subjects and academic direction they need to take to succeed in this line of work,” explains Multotec’s Lindiwe Kabini. “We try and instil the belief that perhaps one day, we’ll see some of them wearing hard hats around site!”
Multotec is honoured to be associated with MYP, and had a great time with the learners of Masemola High School!
