Showcasing Innovation at Multotec: H-Pins

This innovation was developed by Zelda Zonneveld Junior Draughtsperson, Multotec Manufacturing, TCS.

Problem statement:
The old casting aid for the Fishtail featured a base that incorporated H-Pin cut-outs wire. With the new Fishtail casting aid, we only need a flat bar to locate the pinning and 10 mm THK PU blocks that can be placed under the steel to lift it off the table.

We are saving on cost and time by not having to make a new base with the machining and wire cutting of the H-Pins. In addition, we no longer need to make a different base each time we have a different pinning requirement.
