Going through a worldwide pandemic was, and still is, a challenging factor for many individuals. Returning to work during the COVID-19 pandemic has meant adjusting to a “new normal” for many employees.
Emphasising the importance of following COVID-19 protocols during 2020 was imperative to ensure safe working conditions for all employees. Our health and safety officers provided guidance and assistance to everyone in the workplace as to the correct way of wearing our masks and the social distancing guidelines to follow.
Denique Moneron started at Multotec in 2018, within the SSM division of MPE. In 2019 she was appointed as a SHE representative from the health and safety committee and is actively involved in various health and safety protocols within the workplace.
Due to her dedication and perseverance, Denique was nominated in October for her phenomenal work during the current pandemic. Preparing the building for COVID-19 regulations, she ran risk assessments, monitored maximum capacity in each area, kept employees updated on all new COVID-19 regulations and procedures, ensured all common areas had sanitising stations and placed relevant signage throughout the building.
Denique acts immediately when there are potential hazards, near misses and incidents. We thank her for her ongoing effort and congratulate her for this SSM Motor of the Month award.
