In tough economic times, it’s refreshing to have a team of players willing to go the extra mile to ensure that Multotec’s doors not only stay open, but that we maintain our competitive advantage in the industry.
SSM has seen two individuals that were worthy of our Motor of the Month award, and could not be separated, hence September is the first time that this award is shared.
The winners this month are Helene du Preez, our Planner, and Danie van der Westhuizen, our Field Service Technician.
Helene began at Multotec 14 years ago planning the sampler’s products, which then saw her role evolve into planning spares for all products in SSM including projects, magnetics and solid-liquid capital. September saw SSM successfully invoice over R17 Million for spares, including the Somilo Project. Planning R17 Million worth of spares takes more than just good planning, it requires a huge amount of time, dedication and hard work, and so this award recognises these great efforts!
Danie began at Multotec in 2012, involved in various sampling plant installations and commissioning, including the Kendal project. His most recent success was his outstanding work in completing the commissioning for the GAC project, in a hot, humid and rainy Guinea. To say it was a challenging environment would be an understatement. Despite this, as well as being away from home and family for 10 weeks, Danie ensured that our plant was completed and our client satisfied.
We thank both Helene and Danie for their continuous effort, and congratulate them for their outstanding contributions.
