The beginning of a new journey
Multotec is proud to announce the commencement of its 2022/23 learnership programmes.
In April 2022, we had the pleasure of welcoming employees and external learners into Multotec’s learnerships programmes. Their inductions were held in the last week of March 2022.
- Manufacturing and Assembly Logistics L4 programme: 13 employees
- Production Technology L3 programme: 13 employees
- Polymer Compound Manufacturing L3 - Rubber process programme: 6 employees and 4 external learners (2 of whom are females)
- Stores and Warehousing L3 programme: 4 employees and 6 external employees (3 of whom are females)
- Apprenticeship programme: 8 external learners (4 of whom are females) who are expanding their knowledge in the following trades:
o Millwrights x 5
o Fitters x 2
o Electrician x 1
Through these programmes, Multotec is able to create a pool of skilled individuals. The programmes enable the company to promote diversity and bring in learners from different backgrounds, ethnicities and so on. We are also working with women who are passionate about engineering.
We trust that the programme candidates will contribute to their departments by improving processes and being innovative. They will be able to give back to the world with the skills they will otbain. We ask the line managers to invite their new knowledge and skills to be explored to better the department.
